Passing through Prades on our holiday route, we were attracted by the large shaded and planted terrace overlooking the church square... And by the menu, which made us want to try everything! The waiters and waitresses were lovely, the service fast. The prices are very reasonable. But above all, the food... My god! It's been a long time since we ate this well! I took the vegetarian menu (many vegetarian options, it's nice to have the choice!) and enjoyed it from start to finish. The risotto is KILLING, I've never had such good ones. My companion, who had the traditional menu, also enjoyed it. Catalan desserts (Catalan cream with orange and Sichuan pepper / bread-chocolate ganache-olive oil) may seem disconcerting but are really delicious, try them! In the end, the Café de la Paix is: excellent, original, refined cuisine in quantity + a reasonable price + quality service + a great location. Run there! :) We want to come back to Prades just to be able to taste the other dishes of this restaurant! Thanks again to the whole team!

This is an establishment that is attentive to customers. The service is efficient, customers are accepted even if it is late in the afternoon until 2:30 p.m. There is the possibility of having vegetarian and especially gluten-free dishes for people with celiac disease and this is indicated in the menu which is very rare in the Eastern Pyrenees. However, the gluten-free salad with tofu is a little tasteless and essentially a green salad as a main course, it's not very tasty, too bad, the peanuts and the sauce are excellent. On the other hand, the pavlova for dessert is delicious. The portions are generous and the home cooking is reasonably priced. The menus are affordable.

Very pleasant terrace, covered with plane trees. The menu is extensive and original, with local and Asian inspirations. All the staff are very welcoming apart from one person who would do well to change jobs, it is very unpleasant to have a waitress who openly scolds you and speaks to you almost badly.

Top... top... and top! And the gourmet coffee... homemade dessert!!!! Re-Top.

Repas : thon et seiches et dessert café gourmand très bons mais service déplorable.... Demandez 3 fois pour un verre de vin ,pour un peu de pain ,pour le café qui va avec le café gourmand....

En vacances sur le secteur, nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant, l'accueil est excellent, autant par le responsable de l'établissement que par les serveuses, nous étions un couple et un grand chien qui lui a aussi a été très bien accueilli, une place adaptée lui a été attribuée. Très bonne qualité également pour les repas, de l'apéritif au dessert, les produits sont frais. Le cadre est superbe aussi, jolie place avec des grands arbres. Je recommande sans hésitation ce restaurant à toute personne souhaitant se restaurer à des prix raisonnables et sans risque d'insatisfaction. Bonne continuation à toute l'équipe
