Le cafe de la Paix Valreas sur Valreas

The service and reception were excellent, the ambiance is beautiful and the food is beautifully served. But I thought the taste of the food was a lot less good. The starter of tarine de porc was okay but not special. The main course of roulade and vegetables was very salty and the fries were very greasy and salty. Unfortunately I was disappointed and would not recommend the restaurant.

Good place for lunch or dinner. The only downside is the service which I think will improve. They had a new server (person with a disability) who was very nice with whom we had a good chat and that is very good from the owners.

We had dinner there. The very friendly waiter recommended a Valréas wine to us and we were not disappointed. The beautifully presented carpaccio, parmesan, pine nuts, arugula, pistachios dish was delicious 😋 and accompanied by homemade fites (new potatoes) cooked in pure tradition in beef fat! Well done, they were delicious. Good frozen nougat and strawberry coulis. The team is very friendly. The only downsides are that the service is a bit long and the prices are a bit high in my opinion. However, we had a good time and it remains a great discovery.

While visiting the area, we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. What a surprise ! We had an exceptional time, Brice's team lived up to it: generous, authentic and sunny. The concert by the talented Joselo Gonzalez enhanced everything... thank you again for this timeless moment... we will come back (my partner would have stayed until the end of the night!)

We reserved a table for 2 when we arrived, no table reserved or set up for 2, the room and terrace were already full. The waiter hurriedly prepared a table, the daily menu was simple good but without refinement. We had to ask for the vegetables which were normally on the menu, we did not get a basket of bread. Typical place; extremely kind welcome; impeccable service and… excellent meal! You have to trust the Chef who decides on the menu based on the fresh produce he has found. He's extremely talented and, what's more, he's super nice. Not to be missed if you are in the area. And… don’t hesitate to take the wine selection 😀

Nous y sommes allés à plusieurs reprises et c’est toujours un agréable moment. La salle est surprenante avec son décor d’une autre époque (classée). Belle distance entre les tables. Personnel sympathique et efficace, toujours un bon accueil. Belle carte tant pour les menus ou à l’ardoise. Vins locaux de qualité. Ce qui est servi dans les assiettes est très bien travaillé et arrangé, en quantité très suffisante, et de très bonne qualité. C’est toujours un vrai régal (les burgers maison, la pavlova….). Excellent rapport qualité prix, je recommande. Nous y reviendrons, c’est certain. Continuez ainsi……

Is hier altijd goed , men wil je pleasen en dat lukt elke keer , vandaag gereserveerd voor morgen ! Zal weer niet teleur gesteld worden !
