Mixed experience, reception and staff are very professional. In terms of cuisine, the fish is very good, however in terms of the dauphine potatoes, they are simple hazelnut apples (flavored puree) at 19 euros for a small bowl...the same for the desserts, the one with exotic fruits was delicious, however the signature cake is really to be had. review..the ganache, especially the chocolate one, is much too hard.. it lacks texture and crunch.
The setting is magnificent, the only downside is this poor trout which is floundering in its little pool, it has nothing to do there it would be much better in the lake just behind.
In summary, we have the impression of being cheated with an appetizer and dessert for an amount of more than 200 euros. Knowing that for example the full menu of the bistro costs 70 euros.
A bar like a setting on the edge of the lake, impeccable and attentive service, a menu that gives pride of place to local specialties, whether beers, wines or liqueurs.
A splendid view of the lake and the castle of Duingt, a sun terrace.
A real favorite where we feel good.
