Good food but we felt the experience was blunted by over an overpriced menu, rushed service and what felt like upselling techniques by insisting you order a dessert at the start of the meal if you want one due to preparation time.
The setting is gorgeous, the view is spectacular and the hotel itself is very interesting but we ate at the restaurant several times for lunch and dinner and although the food was good, it is outshone by Auberge de la Source which is only 4 minutes up the road for setting, service, price and quality of food.
I wouldn't go there for the restaurant alone and we only ate there so many times as we stayed at the hotel and it was a convenient beautiful setting but it feels like they have relied on that and the food is not up to the standard of the price, tiny portions and mixed service.
Habitués de la côte fleurie, nous cherchions un nouvel endroit pour un diner entre amis. Superbe découverte !
Une magnifique perspective sur la campagne et la mer, des jardins au bassin aux terrasses, on voudrait se poser partout pour suivre le coucher du soleil.
Et puis le dîner, un accueil chaleureux, du personnel souriant, des assiettes aussi jolies que savoureuses: c’est beau , c’est bon, c’est surprenant., c’est décontracté. Quel plaisir d’être un client et pas une carte bleue en pleine saison.
Mon seul bémol,: les photos du site, ne donnent pas l’ampleur du domaine et de ses vues. L’intérieur propose plusieurs ambiances, coté restaurant , coté bar et sa cheminée … Pas de chichi, on profite
