Fantastic! He understood from the start how we wanted to divide the menus, and the food was excellent; the MAISON pâté was exquisite, the duck breast was cooked to perfection, and the tarte tatin was unbeatable!

We came as a group of 16 one evening. We ate very well, but there was one small drawback: we didn't have a choice of how we wanted our meat cooked when we ordered, so we had to send it back to the kitchen, which could have been avoided. The waiters/waitresses were pleasant! The quality/price ratio was very good. The set menu was €25 with a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts. We recommend it!!

While passing through Bayonne for a few hours, I made an unexpected stop at this bistro around 2:00 p.m. Warm welcome, smiling and helpful manager and/or staff, fast and quality service, delicious starters/main courses/cheese (including the bread, which is quite rare), and more than reasonable prices. This place deserves to be known.

Very friendly welcome and service! On the other hand, we were disappointed by the piece of beef which was perfectly cooked, generous but unfortunately really tough... too bad!

31/01/2026: My first experience at the Memphis in Bayonne, a place I'd been wanting to try for a long time. I took advantage of being in Bayonne to finally experience an American atmosphere. The welcome was very courteous and friendly, and the order was taken quickly, but they gave you time to choose. My son and I ordered the same burger, a smash, I think (sorry if that's not the correct spelling), with bacon, served with fries, Memphis sauce (very good), and two large onion rings. The whole plate was well-presented, clean, and full of flavor. We added mozzarella sticks. We finished with a caramel sundae. A big thank you to Dimitry, as well as the waitresses and the cooks for this pleasant evening. The price is reasonable for such a good meal. I'll definitely be back. Well done, keep up the good work!

11/12/2025: The hotel is well-located and easily accessible. Excellent value for money. The staff were very welcoming, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. I would kindly suggest to the chef that they remove the apple tart from the menu. The pastry was half-cooked and the apples were burnt, but they did offer a goodwill gesture at the checkout. Overall, a very positive experience. I recommend it for a short stay.
