Le Carô sur Wallers

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful discovery! We'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, and today we finally walked through the doors of Carô. We called around 8 pm and were able to get a table without any trouble. From the outside, we were charmed: the restaurant is located right across from the Wallers mining site, with a beautiful garden decorated with lots of fairy lights. The facade perfectly evokes the beautiful houses of northern France. Inside, it's just as wonderful: rustic, bright, warm, and truly delightful. ❤️ The welcome was more than warm. A lovely, smiling, very kind, and truly attentive team. As for the meal, we thoroughly enjoyed it! 😋 I chose the Caro burger, accompanied by delicious fries and a small sauce. And for drinks, I discovered a local Lille beverage that I particularly enjoyed. My partner chose the chicken supreme with a peanut stuffing, accompanied by sweet potato purée and a plum sauce: original and truly delicious. For my daughter, the children's menu was excellent: homemade nuggets, fries, salad, and ketchup, with a lovely surprise to finish: a small bowl with a scoop of homemade ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate chips. 🍦🍫 She was thrilled! And to finish, a fig leaf panna cotta for my partner: original and excellent! A little extra that we really appreciated: relaxation areas upstairs as well as a playroom for children. Honestly, it's the kind of small detail that makes all the difference when you come as a family. ❤️ A place we are very happy to have finally discovered. We highly recommend Carô, for the food, the setting, the atmosphere, and especially the kindness of the entire team. We will definitely be back! 🥰🍽️✨

Hello, I'm no longer sure of the exact date. Everyone told me good things about the place. We came with friends for lunch. The setting is certainly beautiful, but the food is too expensive. I won't be going back; there are so many other places with better service!

Always a feast for the eyes and the stomach! The dishes are original and beautifully presented. Everything is homemade at a reasonable price. Plus, the location is lovely with a view of the Aremberg mining site. The staff are friendly and pleasant to chat with. Well done to the team!

We went last night, a group of six, for a four-course meal to celebrate Caro's 4th anniversary. The atmosphere was amazing, the music, the decor, the food—everything was perfect for a wonderful time. As always, it was perfect. Thank you to Juliette, Theo, and their great team. See you very soon!

My first experience at "Caro" was very satisfying. A lovely place to enjoy delicious and original dishes. Good desserts. Very welcoming and top-notch service 👍. Highly recommended. I'd gladly return!

A wonderful time at Le Carô for my grandmother's birthday. I thank the team for being so attentive to guests of all ages. The meal was excellent, and the chef had made a delicious cake for the occasion.

Discovering a magical place. The setting, the decor, the welcome—everything is instantly captivating. The menu surprises with its bucolic flavor combinations and makes you want to try everything. Divine cocktails, subtly presented dishes, and exceptional flavor. We have nothing but praise and will definitely be back! 😊
