A small, unpretentious restaurant, as it describes itself, where we enjoyed an excellent steak, tender and perfectly rare, on the shaded terrace overlooking the village square. One small drawback: we really felt like we were bothering the owner, who didn't crack a smile once during the entire meal... Perhaps it was his gruff, "Tonton flingueur" persona? Or maybe it was because we were dining with a child? Who knows!

The welcome on the phone and in person was friendly, the service discreet and efficient, the complete menu (starter + main course + cheese + dessert + coffee) for €25 was truly excellent, Thank you for this lunch break which we greatly appreciated :-)

A very good restaurant that offers quality products on its menu, a good alternative when you don't know where to eat during your visit to Guédelon Castle.

A very well-located restaurant with a decor reminiscent of the film "Les Tontons Flingueurs" (The Hitmen), excellent! We ordered a starter and main course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unpretentious but beautifully presented, with quality ingredients and the perfect brasserie atmosphere.

Just 10 minutes from Guédelon Castle, in the village of Treigny, lies a peaceful and charming spot. We had lunch on the shaded terrace and received a very warm welcome. The homemade cuisine was delicious, full of flavor and good quality ingredients. The daily special, roast pork ribs with honey and spices, was a delight. And the roasted apple Tatin-style with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream (without whipped cream for me) was truly divine. A place we'll definitely remember for a future weekend getaway with friends.

Excellent country-style cooking in a sixties, gangster-esque, rock and roll atmosphere! And at a reasonable price. And despite the occasional kitchen mishap...

A very nice cafe/restaurant with a "Tonton Flingueurs" (a French film series) atmosphere and a touch of French history. The homemade food is very good, with generous portions and fresh ingredients, all at a reasonable price. The owners were friendly and kind, taking the time to chat. Just 5 minutes from Guédelon. A good stop before or after your visit. In peak season, be sure to book ahead.
