Le Castel du Mont Boise sur Montboucher-Sur-Jabron

Good place to stay! Our room was spacious and pleasant, had a nice terrace, and with the warmth (end of the heatwave), the pool was very nice. The location is very good for reaching the villages and hiking trails in the area. If you are traveling without a car, I would recommend renting one (or cycling, but note that the slope near the castle is quite steep). The buses run very infrequently, you see. The restaurants and bars in the village as well as the surrounding area are very good. Despite the location close to the Route de Soleil, you notice very little of it at the accommodation. It was quiet inside the whole time.

We had a very pleasant stay at Castel du Montboisé. The apartment is very functional (equipped kitchen, air conditioning, terrace, etc.) and the location, a former castle, is very charming. The outdoor pool was particularly clean and well-maintained. The owners were very kind, available, and readily available to answer all our questions throughout our stay. We spent four nights at Drome Provençale Castel in a well-equipped apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When booking, we prioritized reliable internet for working, a pool for our daughter, a lovely terrace for dinner, air conditioning, and secure parking. All of these expectations were fully met. A particular highlight was the beautiful terrace with its magnificent view over the valley. It was a pleasure to end each evening there with dinner and enjoy the view. That alone made the stay worthwhile. A small note for families with children: Due to its depth, the pool is only suitable for children to a limited extent.

A very nice apartment with a fantastic view from the room and terrace overlooking the valley and the mountains to the south. Excellent amenities and very good air conditioning (the unit heats up quickly and cools perfectly). Friendly contact with the owners. Parking on the property, swimming pool and garden. Shopping facilities in the village of Montboucher and the nearest supermarket are also within easy reach. Many excursion destinations in the surrounding area. We have now stayed there three times (each time for more than a week in winter, spring and summer) and are delighted.
