Le Cerasus sur Saint-Savin

This isn't my first time here 👣. I've been with family, in small groups, and even as a couple. It's never the same experience, but the joy and good humor are always present and guaranteed. The food is high quality, made with fresh, local ingredients. Three set menus are offered à la carte at different prices to suit your budget and appetite, sure to delight your taste buds. For my part, we opted for the €45 menu, which included a starter, main course, dessert, a glass of wine from the wine list, a liter of sparkling water, and a coffee ☕️, for a total bill of approximately €120.00. Note that you get a €1 discount per person for visiting the abbey upon presentation of the restaurant's coupon. Please note that reservations are highly recommended if you are more than 4 people or if you plan to visit the abbey and wish to dine there. I've attached photos 📷 of the dishes from our menus.

While passing through the region, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant. We were captivated by this place, housed in a magnificent former abbey and nestled along the banks of the Gartempe River. The cuisine is refined and delicious. The rib of beef served on a large, raw wooden board was incredible! We had a truly delightful time with excellent service and left with very full stomachs. We will likely return if we are ever in the area again.

Easter family meal in a beautiful setting, but some dishes fell short. The sweetbreads, beef medallions, and snails were excellent. However, the scallop soup was unremarkable; the only flavor was the overly spicy, lemony vegetables. The Black Forest cake for dessert needed improvement as it was too dry. The service was also too slow. We've had better experiences at this restaurant.

The welcome was very warm, and the starter, main course, and dessert were all delicious. I highly recommend this superb restaurant.

We had a wonderful birthday lunch at Cerasus in Saint-Savin. The food was excellent, with delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The setting was lovely and the atmosphere very friendly. Special mention goes to our waiter, who was outstanding: very professional, attentive, and friendly. Everything was perfect for a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We stumbled upon this place by chance. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from a friendly and very helpful team. The dishes on the rustic menu were generous and delicious. Furthermore, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a captivating performance by a renowned pianist. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.
