Le Cercle Republicain sur Gordes

A place steeped in history. The view is magnificent, but less important than the warm welcome and conversation with the owner. He told me about the history of the village, this café, and the photos on the walls. And the coffee was excellent. An unusual and incredibly welcoming place. Thank you for your hospitality. And I hope number 79 is drawn in the raffle!

Place for drinks with a great little covered terrace providing a beautiful view. Order at the bar and drinks brought to your table. This is not a place for you if you expect high end service.

The Cercle Républicain is the most beautiful café in Gordes for breakfast or any other drink, and the service is excellent. In addition, the popular terrace offers an exceptional view of the Lubéron, a feature that other cafés in Gordes don't have. Personally, I had breakfast there and returned for coffee the same day, because I was captivated by the view, as are the Cercle Républicain's customers, who come from all over France and abroad.
