le Cerizat sur Chail

We (2 people, 2 dogs) ate here on September 21, 2026. The restaurant is one of those unassuming roadside eateries found in France and is frequented by many truckers. The welcome was exceptionally friendly, and bringing the dogs was no problem at all. There's one set menu (no à la carte) consisting of a varied appetizer buffet, a main course (choice of two dishes), cheese, and dessert. Overall, very good and unusually inexpensive with truly excellent service! My recommendation for anyone who wants to experience authentic French cuisine and doesn't mind skipping the fancy new releases. 👍

Very friendly...the food is decent...

Just a little noisy, but that's normal for a "truck".

Very good, great food, great flavors. I recommend it!

Meh, we stopped there after reading the reviews. Really disappointed by the food. Apart from the appetizer buffet, the rest wasn't worth the trip.

Very sweet, passionate owners. Deliciously horny, floating...

We ended up here by chance. Super friendly service, tasty food, and served quickly. Great stop for lunch.

A place we wish we saw many more of in France, unfortunately inflation has taken its toll. But in any case, I recommend stopping by, whether just for a meal or to freshen up. You'll have a great time. It's super clean, the owners are incredibly kind, and above all, the food is delicious. I much prefer eating here than going to an overpriced fast-food restaurant. I'll definitely be back. Have a good day and thank you. The young man 😉

Great, and even as a vegetarian I was able to enjoy a fantastic plat du jour.

I really enjoyed this restaurant; it was calm and relaxing. The owners are friendly, the service is warm, and I ate well.
