08/10/2026: Visiting the area and recommended by a friend from Niort, we discovered this restaurant, which we certainly would never have found otherwise. It must be said that this place is particularly secluded, and all the better for it, because it's so peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The inn is very well laid out and decorated, blending rustic and modern styles. The terrace by the water is lovely in good weather, under the plane trees. The staff was incredibly attentive from beginning to end, responsive, helpful, and offered excellent advice. Every dish we tasted was simply fantastic, with a multitude of flavors, textures, and colors. The little touches at the beginning and end of the meal were much appreciated (amuse-bouches and petit fours). And what a cheese platter! I loved it. We had a wonderful time at the table. Thank you and congratulations to the Chef and his team.

The portions are generous, the ingredients are high-quality, and everything is perfectly prepared. 18/09/2026: I went last year with my partner, and we happened to stumble upon this restaurant. The waiter didn't know English, and we dont speak French, but we somehow managed to understand each other. He recommended the house cocktail, which to be honest, I don't even remember what it had except for home-made prunes, and that it was absolutely delicious. We opted to have one of the set menus each, and everything was delicious, and the portions were quite large. Everything was exceptional, from the service, to the food, to the recommendations. If I were to go again, I would tell them to just choose everything for me and trust that what I eat is going to be phenomenal.

24/09/2026: A rather surprising find for a reasonable price. The salmon was very good with homemade pancakes, served piping hot. The three steaks were superb, but be warned: the sauce was too cold, which masked the heat and flavor of the bacon. As for the service, it was very pleasant and friendly.

22/09/2026: A wonderful discovery, made by chance in Niort; the "Maître Restaurateur" designation is richly deserved. The originality of serving starter, main course, and dessert on the same tray is an excellent idea. You can have lunch at your own pace. And what's more, the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Perfectly romantic, whether on the terrace nestled among the trees or comfortably inside. If you find it, you're in for a treat!
