Nice sheltered little restaurant near the lake. Menu was basic and food a reasonable standard - certainly nothing to write home about and filled the gap but with little satisfaction.
Service was good, efficient and staff speak multiple languages.
I have been going there for many years, I have never been disappointed, the welcome and family atmosphere, everything we ate there (sea breast, chipiron etc.) are just excellent.
Nicole the owner takes care of the bar and restaurant alone 3/4 of the year and I must say that she struggles.
The setting is sublime. The only downside is a few tourists who think they are in a fast food restaurant in town and who leave comments because they had to walk to the cash register to pay. It's an excellent, familiar family place that fits very well where it is, Les Landes.
I hope that we will keep this gas establishment for a long time.
I ordered an apricot juice which I dropped straight away without tasting it.
The lady at the bar (I don't know if she was the manager or what) changed it for me straight away and made me pay. I found it very commercial (nowadays). Super nice. And thank you again
Dining outside which we enjoyed.
Downside, dishes arrived almost cold, with soft fries. On the other hand, the beef was very good and tender.
Very pleasant and available waitresses.
Surprising encounter in this atypical setting.
Initially we read Service at the Counter, but pleasantly the Owner comes to offer us her services...
The ice creams are good and tempting.
The toilets are clean.
