LE CHANTACO sur Pont-Audemer

Arriving at lunchtime on a Saturday in August, a party of seven without a reservation, we received a very warm welcome. The waitresses arranged a table for us with a high chair for the baby. The menu is simple and short (a sign of quality and freshness). The hanger steak was delicious and perfectly rare, the Serrano ham excellent, and the fries homemade. Three staff members to serve us was a bit understaffed, so we skipped dessert, but without any regrets and in good spirits. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful time with colleagues during our trip to Normandy. The (local!) ingredients were expertly prepared, resulting in superb dishes (both visually appealing and delicious). The warm welcome we received demonstrated the team's passion for their work and the passion that keeps this place thriving.

With a delicious nugget appetizer! Very friendly welcome in the afternoon. Impeccable service. Despite the late hour in the late morning, a friendly welcome on the terrace for an aperitif without lunch.

We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. The prices are reasonable, the meals are delicious, made with fresh, homemade ingredients! And to top it all off, the staff are radiant and friendly! We'll be back as soon as we're visiting your beautiful region again 🙂
