Le Cheval Blanc Wine Bar sur Nimes

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the exquisite quality of the food and the professionalism of the servers, all within a historic setting. We received a warm welcome from the owner, which is quite unusual. Quality, a smile, and goodwill are the hallmarks of this restaurant. We highly recommend it.

Stunning eclectic bullfighting themed restaurant across from the beautiful Nimes Roman arena. We went early on a Tuesday night in September the restaurant was quiet ordering supreme of chicken with morels and calf’s liver with persillade. Both plates were served with creamy sweet potato and ratatouille. Nice place to eat when in Nimes.

Lunch menu at €17 including starter, main course, and a glass of wine. Excellent value for money, unbeatable.

A pleasant restaurant with attentive staff. One of the last places in Nîmes to offer offal, among other things. The pig's trotters and tripe are absolutely top-notch. The decor also features several truly unique paintings and artworks. Very enjoyable.

Dinner in a luxurious setting. Good wine and delicious cod dishes.

Everything was perfect. The atmosphere, the delicious dishes, the wine, and the friendly, always smiling staff. The cheese selection, the brandade (the best I've ever tasted), the steak, and the snails were also amazing.

A sure bet in Nîmes with a menu that changes very regularly, quality products, excellent value for money and always very attentive service.

A truly delightful experience! Everything was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. The restaurant is magnificent, tastefully decorated, with an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Ideally located directly opposite the Arena, the view further enhances the enjoyment of the experience. The welcome was impeccable, and the entire team was remarkably kind. The service was attentive, quick, and perfectly paced, without ever being rushed. The cuisine was a true triumph. I enjoyed a terrine as a starter, a pig's trotter as a main course, and then a delicious chestnut vacherin for dessert. Each dish was generous, perfectly executed, and made with high-quality ingredients. I also greatly appreciated the comfort of the dining room: the tables are spaced far enough apart to allow for private conversations, the atmosphere is calm and pleasant, and the premises, including the restrooms, are impeccably maintained. Finally, the value for money is simply exceptional considering the quality of the food, the service, and the setting. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return on my next visit to Nîmes.
