LE CIGALON sur Lancon-Provence

It's a roadside diner because it's right on the road, and there's a large parking lot, but not for the food. The appetizer plates wrapped in plastic film don't constitute an appetizer buffet, the main courses are just okay, but the veal chop on the menu, as thin as a slice of ham, was just so-so. Luckily, the staff are friendly and competent.

It's a good roadside restaurant, don't arrive too late, the parking lot fills up quickly, the showers are a bit small for my taste (I'm claustrophobic, that explains it) in the evening, there were 2 "stars" at the bar who created a good atmosphere.

A small drawback is the lack of explanations for the starter buffet. Just a choice of two dishes presented in a refrigerated cabinet. But when you love Routiers, you adapt. Fast service. Guillaume, the server, was pleasant and efficient. Good value for money. Clean restrooms. Huge parking lot with easy access.

Just a small complaint about the lack of explanation regarding the appetizers, which are presented as a buffet, even though you have to help yourself to a choice of two dishes. But when you love the Routiers, you can forgive everything. Quality/price, nothing to complain about, it's as it should be. Fast service. The server, Guillaume, was very friendly. Very large parking lot, easy access.

At the top. We had a great time. You have to make the detour to discover this gem. A very warm welcome
