Clean restrooms, pleasant staff. As for the food, very disappointed with the ribeye steak (set menu at €19.90).... See photo. Frozen fries. Really not great.

Passing through Salon-de-Provence, I stopped for lunch at the Le Cigalon truck stop restaurant, located at the end of the runway at Air Base 701. Parking was no problem at all: the lot is huge, like at many truck stops. The restaurant offers a set menu for €17.90 including a starter, main course, and dessert, with a daily special. The starter was a buffet of hors d'oeuvres consisting of plated appetizers, various vegetables, and charcuterie. The daily special was beef cheek braised in beer, served with a choice of fries, pasta, or carrots in sauce. It was very good, with excellent value for money. The service was quick and particularly efficient. Special mention to Laura, who was always attentive, very professional, and knew perfectly how to showcase the ingredients. No waiting. A very good experience, a place to recommend without hesitation.
