We discovered this restaurant on the Marseille website, Le Panier. The food is excellent: fresh ingredients prepared plated to order, with meticulous presentation. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was also excellent. We highly recommend it! We also want to mention the poor behavior of a customer who caused a scene, claiming that what they had eaten (because this person ate everything) was of very poor quality... demanding not to pay. It's disheartening to witness this kind of display of bad faith, whose sole aim, most likely, is to eat well for free...

First evening in Marseille and I wasn't disappointed at all by this restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious, we had a wonderful meal! Thank you again for the warm welcome, the service, and the great dishes! The kids loved it!

Au Vieux Port

01/08/2026: It was good, there are several touchscreens for ordering, the chicken portions are generous, there are several tables but it's not very big either, the toilets are accessible with a code, the staff are great, kudos to them because they clean up after messy people who leave things lying around, but it's cleaned up pretty quickly 👍
