A charming historic house with modern comforts. Excellent cuisine and professional, very welcoming service. We truly appreciate this and are already looking forward to our next visit.
We had dinner at this lovely establishment on a Friday evening. It wasn't crowded, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
(The decor is a bit dated and lacks charm, but the setting is splendid!) We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, from the amuse-bouche to the main course; everything was well-prepared and beautifully presented, using high-quality ingredients. The only slight disappointment was the lemon dessert, which wasn't to our taste (the biscuit was dry and the cream was too lemony, almost acidic).
We will definitely be back!
An old mill, set in a beautifully landscaped park. Quietly located by a stream and close to the Marne and the canal. The rooms are very small but renovated. The French breakfast is really good. The evening menu in the restaurant features two set menus, each with three or four different courses, and a plat du jour as an alternative. Prices are €31 and €42, respectively, and you get excellent food for that. The small wine list offers an excellent selection of exclusively French wines at very reasonable prices by German standards.
