Le Clos des Lys sur Perpignan

Disappointment this time, even though I've been several times before. The chef had "lost" our voucher for the main course, resulting in a wait of about 45 minutes between the appetizer and the main course. We had to ask the waiter, and the chef came to apologize and tell us he had "completely forgotten" about us. This inconvenience could easily have been rectified with a gesture of goodwill. We were indeed offered a digestif by the chef, but we don't drink alcohol—the waiter in charge of this laughed and left without a word. No alternative was offered, and we would have appreciated a small discount on the bill (for example, the coffee—only one was ordered for three people). That would have made a big difference. This experience was disappointing and doesn't allow me to say I'll be back.

A Mixed Experience We had a pleasant evening as a group at your establishment, which has a well-established reputation. The service was generally satisfactory, although the friendliness of one of the waitresses left something to be desired that evening. Regarding the food, the assessment is more nuanced: €35 Set Menu: a very affordable price, but the dishes were decent but not particularly memorable. €49 Set Menu: the starters were appreciated (foie gras and prawns). However, the fish course, while acceptable, was a very small portion. Considering the particularly high prices of the à la carte menu, the overall value for money seemed somewhat below what one would expect from an establishment of your standing.

Always a pleasant experience; we've been coming for at least 20 years. Impeccable service and delicious food. And a special mention for the dessert buffet.

There's no denying it's a beautiful restaurant, and the food is good. Unfortunately, I found the service quite unfriendly, but I think they were just very tired.

We had lunch at this restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. The value for money is excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely. Impeccable service, a pleasant terrace in a nice setting. The chef came to greet the diners, which is always a nice touch. Highly recommended!
