Le Clos Gourmand sur Vaulx-En-Velin

Honestly, perhaps the best gravlax I've ever had. It almost made me forget that we waited 15 minutes before being served (but keep in mind we were the first customers, so let's forgive them). We ate upstairs, at the "gastronomic" menu. I ordered a quenelle lyonnaise, my first time having one in a restaurant. I can say I was perhaps expecting a more generous portion, but the porcini mushrooms were delicious, and I finished the bread with the sauce! Finally, the dessert, the chestnut cream, was divine. Honestly, a great experience right near the metro. However, I think it's still a bit pricey.

The welcome, the service, and the food: everything was perfect! Special mention for the salmon tartare and the beef tartare, both of which were exceptional. And what about the chocolate mousse! Thank you for this delicious lunch that delighted young and old alike.

Still a great place in Carre de Soie. The only downside: finding a parking space
