Very good cuisine, I recommend the Peking duck which is fine and very fragrant (I even ate the fat!) the pancakes as a starter were excellent and then for dessert the waouuu ice cream ball fritter!!!
To summarize typical Vietnamese cuisine, adapted and quality portions and above all dishes that do not exist in all Asian restaurants, in short we will return there!
The cheapest yet my favorite meal when we were in Aix. As an Asian I can only take so much French food when we are traveling… and I need my rice fix. This totally satisfied that craving!
What I liked is that the moment we sat down we were served prawn crackers and cold water immediately together with the menu. What a relief from the summer heat outside. Some restos in Aix en Provence take forever to gib the menu.
We ordered Beignets de crevette (4 pièces Shrimp fritter).
I ordered my usual Bò bún nem (Pork fried spring rolls, beef, vegetables, salad and vermicelli noodles). It comes with a sweet sour salty sauce that totally cuts the oil and meaty flavor and makes it refreshing to eat.
They were very flexible when we asked if we could have the same dish for my son with rice instead of Vermicelli. The loved the beef. I loved the crispy spring rolls so we switched those.
My Judy had the Porc laqué croustillant (Crispy lacquered pork served with rice vermicelli) and they also accommodated his request for rice I stead of vermicelli.
If you are in Aix-en-Provence, and are craving rice and some authentic Vietnamese, I would recommend this place happily.
