27/09/2026: I visited KAVA several times during my first trip to Aix-en-Provence, and it quickly became one of my favourite places for breakfast. L’Eggs Factor avec des hash browns et du bacon, c’était mon petit-déjeuner préféré, et le café est excellent ! The service is outstanding, and the entire team is friendly and welcoming. Katya, in particular, made my visits memorable. She is an absolute joy to speak with and was kind enough to recommend places to explore around Aix. Her warmth and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. Un merveilleux café dans la même rue où Paul Cézanne a vécu. Je recommande vivement !

20/09/2026: An absolutely delicious Peruvian restaurant in the heart of Aix's old town. The service was impeccable (the waiter was very kind and welcoming) and the food was delicious. Our 8-year-old daughter loved it too. Even the music was perfect and added to the atmosphere. We learned that the restaurant has been open since 1990, making it one of the oldest restaurants in Aix still open today! I hope they stay open for a long time; they deserve it.

03/10/2026: Warm and friendly staff, liked the service. The sandwich is vegetarian, falafels perfectly cooked and fried on order, good quality hummus, all house made and fresh, overall the presentation is really nice. The sandwich is quite filling and taste is good too.

22/10/2026: We had a very delicious vegan lunch at La Cabane de Ville! The experience felt like being at a friend’s house for dinner - all of the dishes were prepared with care and the owner/chef was incredibly welcoming. The aubergine tart, lasagna, and the seitan chicken were true comfort foods (and the chocolate cake was excellent!). This was one of the best vegan meals we have had in a long time and visiting La Cabane de Ville was an absolute treat while in Aix-en-Provence!

The dishes may seem simple at first glance, but from the moment you taste them, you understand all the work, research, and preparation that go into each plate. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the combinations well thought out, and the ingredients are truly showcased and fresh. A big thank you also to the service. You immediately feel their passion for the craft. The presentation of each dish is accompanied by explanations of its creation and the different stages of preparation. It's enjoyable, informative, and allows you to appreciate what you're eating even more. A truly wonderful discovery, both for the food and for the warm welcome and service. A restaurant where you can feel a genuine passion and a desire to please. Thank you to the entire team at Mitch for this delightful experience. We will definitely be back.

You can choose to dine outside and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the square, or inside in a very pleasant, intimate setting. The menu offers a choice of three starters, four main courses, and three desserts, a guarantee of quality and fresh ingredients. A beautiful harmony of flavors, originality… a truly delightful meal! The chef is a master of his craft! The service is impeccable, both discreet and friendly! Highly recommended!
