Le comptoir à Bulles sur Sacy

Family restaurant highly recommended by our son's colleagues, we were delighted! Cozy atmosphere, high quality food (foie gras to die for), exceptional value for money (serious size of portions) and what can we say about the champagne food pairing! The real plus is meeting a chef who doesn't have a big head: for the first time we've been there he comes to offer you some extra sauce, then the local digestive. Finally, he doesn't hesitate to take you home and stay to talk with you for ten minutes. It is with great pleasure that we made an appointment in December when we return to the region, a visit to the cellar is planned.

Great. Welcome, service. The dishes and the creativity in the dishes. Everything is as good as you would hope to find in a restaurant. Even if it is trivial, and yet it is often revealing in hotels and restaurants, the cleanliness and comfort of the toilets. We understand better when we talk with the chef, Mathias. He loves what he does, he loves people. And he's funny.

Excellent cuisine on offer. The foie gras as a starter is great (17€). The reverse burger and poultry on the menu are exceptional. Very well cooked meat and the sauces are killer. We found the dishes/starter a little too salty though. Service OK. Price a little high but you pay for quality and the region!

Une très belle adresse qui mérite que l'on s'y arrête. Les plats sont savoureux. L'accueil est chaleureux et le chef prend le temps de venir discuter avec les convives. Nous avons apprécié l'adaptabilité du chef qui a su proposer une modification des plats car un des convives n'aimait pas les champignons. Dans ce restaurant on aime les bons plats et cela se ressent dans l'assiette ! Nous reviendrons.

Als je 1 van de champagneroutes volgt, kom je langs het dorpje Sacy, 8 km onder Reims Hier vind je het restaurant Le comptoir a Bulles. Moet je echt naar binnen gaan, want naast het proeven van de champagne is er ook een hele goede Franse keuken. Heerlijk gegeten met een 4 gangen keuze menu. Geweldige prijs kwaliteitverhoudin g en vriendelijk personeel.
