A good restaurant, good welcome, polite nikel, we will come back

Although familiar with this formula in the Pas de Calais, first visit to Mers les Bains and happy discovery. Well-run restaurant, pleasant welcome, diligent service. A little wait of course, however the quality of the dishes ordered - fish & chips - really delicious. Soft fish, fine and easily digestible breading, perfectly cooked fries and good sauce. A little regret for the wilted salad, however I consider that it is more of a decoration... which I would have done without. Having seen several aperitif boards, and other meat dishes in particular, I can say that the quality is there. In addition, the prices are really very low, which doesn't spoil anything for this type of establishment which, without being gastronomic, obviously holds its place as a quality brasserie. Moreover, frequentation of the establishment on a Wednesday of the week attests to the interest of this restaurant which I highly recommend. 4**** congratulations.

Pleasant staff, long waiting time and served cold, return of dishes to the kitchen and the same for the coffee, very disappointed for the first time

One of the only restaurants where we don't mind welcoming you after 9 p.m. Very friendly staff and eager to satisfy customers. Flore accompanied us from aperitif to dessert always with a smile and although we were hanging around a bit, she didn't rush us despite the late hour.

Passing through the region, we had booked the hotel and restaurant at the same time but...oops, no longer our name...despite a lot of people and the queue of people waiting for a table, the manager found us a place ... We didn't know this channel... really well. We ate very well in a beautiful setting. Despite the crowds, our waitress took great care of each table and always had a smile... We're not used to that anymore...
