A little disappointed on my last visit, the sharing platter was average, and as for the main course, the fries were frozen and therefore dry when cooked.

Excellent service from Mathieu this lunchtime: attentive, quick, and efficient. He was very responsive when I mentioned a problem with my dish and found a solution immediately! @Chef: Be careful not to skimp on the portions! 😉 A lovely, relaxing time spent together.

The food was very good. The service needs improvement; the wait was too long, even though it was a weekday and the restaurant wasn't very busy. There were two of us, and our dishes didn't arrive at the same time.

Staying at delightful Chateau des Tilleuls campsite near to Abbeville dropped in by chance to Le Comptoir du Malt popular establishment apparently in the middle of nowhere! Buzzy for a Monday night! Good honest food - green salad a little limp🤷‍♀️ Great beer selection Belgian biased may be not enough French! Service was excellent - friendly & prompt! Just what was required after day on road!

21/02/2026: The restaurant manager is very friendly and efficient, working alone in the dining room. Bravo, because it's not easy! She's been passionate about cooking for a long time. Traditional French dishes are prepared on-site with high-quality ingredients. Fish comes directly from Le Crotoy. Excellent value for money. Finally, a real restaurant! Go and enjoy!
