Le Comptoir Syrien sur Saint-Etienne

First time at the Syrian counter last night. We opted for 7 mezze for 2 (more than enough, 5 or 6 would have been enough). Very fair price. Very pleasant and smiling waitress. Good food. Well prepared pieces, spicy and hearty.

The first Syrian restaurant in Saint-Etienne and it remains the best, with its delicious and quality dishes, the best falafels, grills, and mezzes including muhammara. Excellent service and warm atmosphere. The owners are very nice Bravooo..I recommend

We were very well received in this warm place. Our two year old baby was also very well received with a smile and a high chair. We had two discovery menus and a few more small dishes. Lemonade and tea. Everything is delicious and fine. The waitress, Shaima, is very smiling and attentive and that counts a lot too. We recommend this restaurant with our eyes closed.

We are happy to return to this restaurant. The decoration is very pleasant, especially the small space at the back, the delicious dishes (we opted for the tasting menu), an explosion of flavors and a beautiful presentation. But this evening we were welcomed by a new waitress who was very smiling and friendly. Very good contact with customers, no mistakes, the choice is good!! In any case we will return and recommend without problem.

Excellent discovery, a very simple restaurant, with quality Syrian cuisine.. in a very courteous atmosphere A cheerful and smiling Mediterranean service We will return with pleasure.. A good price-performance ratio

There's nothing to criticise about the restaurant itself. The service is extremely good as is the food. My main issues that it's probably 50% more expensive than similar restaurants so I wont return

We had discovery menus, everything was good and well cooked. All it needed was a server who was a little more cheerful.

Decor, quite nice staff Very pleasant the only small problem that may be there is that the bread is not hot and it is cold. My friend who accompanied me found that there was a lack of sauce, not mayonnaise sauce, harissa ketchup, but as you have just started, we understand, everything needs a start, but keep it up, well done
