Le Comptoir Syrien sur Saint-Etienne

Looking for a Syrian restaurant, we stumbled upon Le Comptoir Syrien. It was delicious; the food was well-balanced and refined, and the service was perfect. I highly recommend it; it was delicious.

Thank you very much for the welcome, however, there was a downside regarding the code to scan for a promotion and the email that we did not receive after entering all our details…and the refusal to apply the promotion, not very cool.

After seeing it featured on Maps, we went there, but the prices were higher than on the Maps listing and the portions were smaller (€4 for a single skewer 😰). We stayed anyway, but the waiter practically ignored us, and the wallpaper was peeling, and there were cobwebs in the corners... not great. The food was delicious, though. It's a shame they brought us a container to take away our leftovers; the last impression wasn't the best. :/ But we'll say it again, the food is good!

I tried the delicious and generous €22 set menu. My only complaint is that I would have preferred a printed menu rather than using the tablet. But the food itself was varied, flavorful, and appetizing. I highly recommend this restaurant!
