Very good food and pleasant service. Just the dining room was a little cold.

A wonderful discovery! The food is truly excellent, with flavorful and perfectly executed dishes on the menu. The service is pleasant, professional, and very quick. We arrived quite late with a reservation shortly after, and despite this, we were served without any wait, which was much appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for the quality of its food as well as for the efficiency and friendliness of the staff.

A delightful discovery, the food is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff are truly lovely. A very good place to return to, I'll definitely be back.

Dinner on October 31st... A great find. The welcome on the phone was friendly. You could feel the warmth of their voice, and it was the same when we arrived. A very good meal. High-quality products (the foie gras... the Limousin beef, so tender you could almost cut it with a fork... the desserts...). Good value for money... The only slight drawback was the service, which was a little slow... We'll gladly return.

Creative dishes and desserts with remarkable tastes.

We visited Le Convivial twice in October. Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced food. Proper French restaurant with a well planned set and a la carte menu. Set menu of three courses was €33. Amazing sweet soufflés and my personal favourite - Ile Flottante - light as a feather and delicious. Perfectly cooked meat and fish, wonderful sauces and good wine choices. The proprietor is extremely charming and you are made to feel at home the minute you enter. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

What luck to have stumbled upon this place en route from Caen to Chantilly! Exactly the sort of restaurant you want in France - family run, well partonised by locals who all seem to know each other and the staff, friendly, welcoming, unfussy. Really good, ordinary French cooking. We'll remember it for a long time.
