Top-notch restaurant! 👌 Delicious and generous cuisine, quality ingredients, and very pleasant service. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere friendly; you immediately feel at ease. We had a wonderful time there. You can go for a family meal, a get-together with friends, or to celebrate a birthday; you'll be very well received. An address I highly recommend! 👌🍽️

We hired Le Coq d’Or for our wedding weekend in Chénérailles this summer. They enthusiastically and passionately guided us through the planning process, from choosing the menus (lunch, dinner, and brunch) to selecting the cocktails. They were very responsive, reassuring, and readily available to accommodate our requests. All our guests greatly appreciated the quality and quantity of the food, the service and professionalism, as well as the wonderful atmosphere you created during the meals. We will definitely come back to see you on our next trip to Chénérailles to try your regular menus, new cocktails, and wine cellar! We wish the new Coq d’Or continued success!

Passing through the region, this was a truly fantastic discovery. The food was hearty, delicious, and high-quality, featuring fresh, local ingredients that were simply mouthwatering. There was a wide selection of drinks and dishes to suit everyone. A huge thank you to the attentive and very friendly staff. I highly recommend it!

The food was decent but a bit pricey for what was offered. The photos on the menu don't always accurately reflect what was actually served. The tuna tataki at €28 isn't really tataki, even though the tuna itself was good. And the accompanying rice was tasteless. Also, be careful with the payment methods. The Creuse tourist office website states that they accept holiday vouchers, but this isn't the case.
