Spoted this place on a rainy day driving past from a nearby roundabout on a Sunday. The restaurant although quite large was packed and we had to wait 10 minutes while the kind owner found and cleared us a table mid rush. Everybody else had reserved ! Good hearty French food served quickly and with a smile. Just what we needed.

We had a wonderful evening at Le Coq Gaulois 🐓. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the welcome very friendly, and the service quick without being rushed. The dishes are generous, beautifully presented, and homemade. The value for money is excellent. We'll gladly return.
