Le Courtois Cafe sur Nimes

First time in Nîmes. A little corner of tranquility and good products a stone's throw from the Nîmes arena. Compared to the other establishments on the square (crowded that day and very noisy), beyond the old side of the place, this café was perfect on all points. By comparison, the dishes seemed to us to be of better quality and indeed, it was very good. The toilets were very clean. Special mention for the very kind, polite and attentive waitresses and waiter! They know the coffee menu (it’s rare). We had a very pleasant time near the fountain. The desserts are better than expected and the ice creams excellent. The TEA ice with fresh raspberries was very desirable, you don't find that everywhere. Recommended for children and adults alike.

We were well received. Decent and quality dishes. A lot of flow but we were given time. Nice for lunch!

Very well located but the value for money is a little high.

Ugh.... Came before a show at the arenas without knowing the establishment. Pleasant, lively terrace. Honest burger, Nimoise salad with good local products but which would have deserved more green salad and raw vegetables. Really lean Caesar salad: 2 breaded chicken breasts and half a hard-boiled egg.... A bit tight for 17.50 euros. Efficient but unsmiling waiters. On the other hand, I don't understand why we have to order inside given the number of servers....

I've been going there once a week for a month now and I'm not disappointed. I was hesitant to come given some of the reviews but I wanted to judge for myself. The service is very good, the waiters and waitresses very welcoming and smiling, the full brunch options, the prices may be high but it doesn't bother me given the quality of the place and the service.

Café magnifique pour se poser et passer un bon moment. On se croirait presque en Autriche. Des plats sont également proposés mais l’assiette cévenole , même si les produits sont très bons, devrait être un peu plus copieuse / généreuse surtout pour 17,50€ ( trop de salade) même si le cadre en terrasse au cœur de la ville est très positif et que l’équipe était agréable ( points à mettre en avant)! €17 for an industrialized lasagna and a poorly made salad. Poorly presented dish, looks like it was prepared lazily. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant but I wouldn't go back, the restaurants next door are better

Se rendre au café Courtois, c’est faire un voyage dans le temps et le suspendre pour en faire un agréable moment. J’y suis allée pour un brunch et j’ai été ravie de la diversité des formules proposées et comblée par la qualité des produits. Tout est parfait jusque dans les moindres détails. Service d’un grand professionnalisme et rapide malgré l’affluence. C’est pour moi l’adresse incontournable où je reviendrai volontiers lors d’un prochain séjour à Nîmes.

Going to the Courtois café is like taking a trip back in time and suspending it to make it a pleasant moment. I went there for brunch and was delighted with the diversity of the options offered and overwhelmed by the quality of the products. Everything is perfect down to the smallest detail. Very professional and fast service despite the crowds. For me, it is the essential address where I will happily return during my next stay in Nîmes.

Very nice place! With this pretty fountain 🐊! And take the time to look inside the cafe! It is very pretty! In Nimes it's the best place to have lunch!!! A real treat for breakfast lovers!
