Le D3 sur Deauville

Very disappointing: the premises are not at all pleasant, no effort has been made to decorate them to make them cozy; it feels like a municipal swimming pool: basic tiles, no lighting or pleasant scents, no self-service towels, and you wait for treatments lined up in narrow, impersonal corridors. Not at all worth the price. On the other hand, the staff are professional and helpful (thankfully).

This is my second time coming for a half-day of thalassotherapy, and I find it very good; the value for money is reasonable. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Admittedly, the pool could use a little updating and more ergonomic jets, but otherwise, everything is perfect.

My sugar/sea salt scrub treatment was great, but the seaweed mud application treatment took 2 minutes and wasn't completely covered. I really thought I was getting a full body wrap to get the benefits.

I have been coming to this thalassotherapy center every year (once) since 2018. I love it. I appreciate the setting and especially the variety of treatments. The welcome is more or less warm depending on the members. Special mention for Pauline (top massage). It's a shame that, given my loyalty, there is no commercial gesture. Nothing is perfect. I give 5 stars.

A very nice half-day stopover in Polynesia. The welcome was friendly, the place cozy and clean, and the massage was a delight.

I was interested in treatments using seawater and seaweed, so I came from Japan. When I was planning my trip, I found that there were thalassotherapy facilities in France, Spain, and the UK, but I chose this one because of its convenient transportation. Deauville is about a two-and-a-half-hour express train ride from Paris's Gare Saint-Lazare station to the Normandy region. The facility is also about a 15-minute walk from Deauville station, so I was able to get there by myself from Paris using Google Maps. It was a day trip. After arriving at the facility and receiving a brief tour, I had a buffet-style lunch in the restaurant and then stayed there for about two and a half hours. I received three treatments: a seawater jet bath, seaweed wrapping, and a back massage while bathing in seawater. The massage, which lasted about 30 minutes and involved correcting my body's distortions and stimulating acupressure points, was particularly relaxing. However, I found the seawater shower to be noisy, so I asked them to turn it off halfway through. The facility was smaller than I expected, but everywhere was clean and not crowded, and the rooftop terrace was particularly relaxing. However, since I went outside with my bare skin still on after bathing, I wish I had brought some moisturizing lotion and sunscreen lotion. All the staff were kind and friendly. It seemed they assigned someone who spoke English to me. Another reason for its high rating was that there was absolutely no unnecessary sales talk, such as recommending cosmetics, which is common at other facilities. I would like to visit again when I go to France. Thank you to everyone who helped me (^^)
