Le-Dancourt Charmes sur Charmes

We recently celebrated my uncle's 80th birthday there and the food was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the food. It was delicious. Highly recommended.

Here's a restaurant we discovered in the Vosges mountains. The welcome was warm and the staff very helpful. We had booked a table on the restaurant's website that very morning and received a positive response quite quickly. We ordered an aperitif, and the wait for our main course was rather long. The food eventually arrived, but after a considerable wait, even though the restaurant wasn't full. My steak tartare was delicious, served with homemade fries. My wife was a little disappointed with her tomato and mozzarella salad; the cheese was very dry. For my steak, I had to ask for salt and pepper along with my glass of wine. The waitress asked me if I was upset, an inappropriate question in this situation, which I found out of line. In short, I'm a little disappointed and I'll leave it to future customers to form their own opinion.

Good French cuisine, very friendly staff, decent prices. New owners since two months and they hit the mark spot on.

We had a wonderful family evening at Dancourt tonight. The restaurant is lovely, the dishes (and their preparation) were perfect, and the owners were incredibly attentive. The wine selection was also a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back!

A real gem in the heart of Charmes! The friendly couple who recently took over Restaurant Dancourt welcomed us with open arms. They offer delicious traditional cuisine in a cheerful atmosphere. An added bonus: the large, intimate terrace overlooking the courtyard, perfect for relaxing. The homemade fries are a real treat, and the place appeals to both adults and children—ideal for families. A change of ownership led us to our first visit to this restaurant. We weren't disappointed. The dining room is warm and inviting, and the terrace where we ate is well-maintained and very pleasant. The service was impeccable, quick, and professional. The cuisine is simple yet delicious. We chose the brioche toast with foie gras and the melon and ham salad. For our main course, we opted for a classic, hand-cut steak tartare, which was excellent. In short, a great experience in Charmes. Thank you for this meal.

For our first visit to this lovely restaurant with its beautiful shaded terrace, we had a wonderful time and the meal was perfect. The meat was excellent, the ribeye and steak tartare were superb 👌👍 The owners and the waiter were very friendly and helpful. The service was quick. We would gladly return.
