Excellent couscous, great welcome, great decor…

We discovered this restaurant tonight thanks to friends. The place is beautiful and spotlessly clean (everything is white, so you can see how much care they take of their restaurant). The welcome was incredible, with smiling, attentive, and discreet staff. They were incredibly attentive. I ordered a chicken tagine with preserved lemon and olives, and my husband had couscous. It was truly, truly, truly excellent.... I'm not usually a fan of this type of cuisine, but this has changed my mind. It's fresh, it's delicious, and the portions are generous. All the flavors were perfectly balanced. Well done, you'll be back often! Sara and Guillaume. For the price, we invited our friends, so it was very reasonable for five people, especially for such generous portions.

This restaurant impressed us with its exquisite dishes. The cuisine was simply divine, and the dishes were an explosion of flavors. The service was impeccable; we loved it and will definitely be back soon.

We finally had the chance to dine at Le Dattier. The welcome was impeccable in this traditional restaurant with its inviting decor. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Moroccan cuisine. We opted for the couscous: a royal couscous for €23 and a set menu with lamb chops for €17. The dish was delicious and nothing was lacking. The dessert menu was extensive. The service was very pleasant and courteous. And to finish, tea was served in the traditional way... I highly recommend this charming restaurant in Bernay. We will definitely return to try other flavors... reservations are essential...
