Excellent meal with the tasting menu! However, the service was slow (over 3 hours at the table despite us specifying a deadline midway through the meal), and there were a few service missteps (we poured our own wine, we were leaving and were asked to stay for the petits fours).

An absolutely remarkable lunch at Le Dauphin with the Experience Menu. From the first amuse-bouche to dessert, each dish demonstrated impressive mastery and creativity. The sea bass fillet with potato scales, roasted in clarified butter with baby chanterelles and a saffron sauce, was simply sublime, as beautiful as it was delicious. The work with fish, the restaurant's signature, is remarkably precise. The setting of this half-timbered Norman inn is charming, and the welcome is warm. A huge congratulations to Amy and Samuel, this young couple who have taken over this legendary establishment and are breathing new life into it while respecting its gastronomic heritage. The Gault & Millau "Seafood Cuisine" award given to the chef is richly deserved. We wish them all the success they deserve—a Michelin star is sure to follow! Go without hesitation. 🐬

The cuisine is refined and very well executed. However, the service is slow and lacks a comprehensive overview. Drinks are only served after repeated requests. Furthermore, it took over two hours for the appetizer and main courses to be served… We still loved the food, though.
