We went to eat this weekend at this new restaurant.
The cuisine is excellent and well served.
On the other hand, the addition is salty.
We are used to eating in good restaurants but the mushroom veal with mashed potatoes at 39 euros is still expensive. It was certainly excellent but good.
I also think that they should diversify the wine list because for less than 50 euros a bottle you have nothing except a Beaujolais.
There are wines for 30 euros which are excellent.
So the cuisine is fine and excellent but I find the prices a little exaggerated.
Meal of 2 aperitifs, dessert and a bottle of red wine at 170 euros

We spent a delicious Sunday lunch at the L'Ataraxie restaurant in Toucy. The discovery menu was a true culinary experience, with a perfect siphon Jerusalem artichoke egg as a starter, followed by a succulent veal tab with honey sauce, and to finish in style, a revisit of Paris-Brest under the name of Paris-Toucy for dessert. Each dish was an explosion of flavors, in an elegant setting and perfect ambiance. The service was impeccable, congratulations to the whole team for this memorable experience!

We push the door and the delicate decor already takes you away…
The young waiter who took care of us has real talent, it’s a pleasure.
Then the scallop carpaccio starter
is a real treat.
The flavors and the presentation are delicate, I stay in the treat afterwards
snaked scallops, old breaded risotto...a real treat.
The local white wine, Bourgogne Coulanges-la-Vineuse, which I love, is always offered here.
Beautiful evening of taste… real cuisine, with flavor and delicacy

Slightly more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but a refined kitchen with local products. Choice between a market menu, menu decouverte or a la carte. We opted for the discovery menu and each received beautifully presented plates with seasonal products. An asset to the region! The chef comes to the table for a chat after the meal.
