We just had a fantastic gastronomic adventure! At Demptezieu, everything is wonderful from start to finish, from the "Rendez-vous amoureux" (a delicious strawberry cocktail) to the seared scallops, followed by half a lobster or slow-cooked beef, and finally the white chocolate dome with strawberries and rhubarb, or the lemon tart, which is a refreshing change. The flavors and textures were a delight.
The service is just as good as the food: friendly and very efficient. We will gladly return.

Prices have skyrocketed, but admittedly, so has the cost of living. Otherwise, the quality remains consistently high, a worthy successor to the previous owners. The service is still impeccable. The 5 stars are perfectly deserved.
Recent visit: still a very well-deserved 5 stars, especially for the incredible all-chocolate dessert!

As a Parisian visiting the region, I had the pleasure of discovering a truly wonderful gastronomic gem that deserves to be better known.
Refined cuisine, perfectly prepared ingredients, elegant and flavorful dishes, and a genuine attention to detail throughout the meal.
Beyond the quality of the food, I particularly appreciated the warm welcome, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff, who fully contribute to the experience.

My wife and I held our wedding reception at Demptezieu with our family (a group of about 30). We were absolutely delighted with the experience. Besides the quality of the food, including the children's menu, we were able to enjoy the terrace and its pleasant setting on a beautiful spring day. The staff was very accommodating to our few requests, and the service was impeccable.
In short, we are incredibly grateful for making this special day exactly what we had hoped for.

It had been a few years since our last visit. There's been a change of ownership since then.
The meal was very good overall, although the slow-cooked rabbit was overcooked.
The local spritz with sparkling Saint-Savin wine, however, wasn't great (too bland).
The waiter is still the same, very friendly and pleasant (a little wink to him). We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful restaurant with a very warm welcome. We were delighted to see our waiter Pierre again, who always had a smile on his face. He gave excellent wine recommendations, asking about our budget, and described the dishes with a charming, sing-song manner.
The dishes were full of flavor and beautifully presented.
