What a great lunchtime meal at this quaint French 🇫🇷 Cafe with awesome service, and excellent food. We found it near the Abbey Aux Hommes, and popped in for a wonderful surprise.

I rediscover the diplomat since the change of ownership and the authenticity of the place has remained with a new decor, ultra fast and pleasant service. The welcome is perfect. One. Delicious fried croq on the go. In short, don't hesitate to stop by.

30/03/2024: Visited Le Havre last November as a base to go to Etretat. Oh boy, truly grateful to discover the boulangerie and the wonderful chausson aux pommes!! The pastry was rightly crispy and layered. The apple filling was just so smooth and at the right taste, not too sweet not too sour. I actually went twice just to get the chausson aux pommes another round.
12/02/2024: All staff members are friendly. All the products sold are quality and delicious! I recommend ! My favorites are turmeric and hazelnut bread, bredelles, honey and fig bread, Christmas brioche 😋😋😋 Thank you for being there for us!

15/03/2024: Magnificent “tapas nocturnal” evening hosted by Kecy O’ Clagan. Great Irish atmosphere with land and sea tapas, cheese, dessert (excellent!). It was great 😁
12/03/2024: One of the best meals of my life! Really. To begin with, the waiter who is adorable (be careful, he makes you want to eat everything, it's terrible!!! but I advise you to follow his advice!!!!) was kind enough to welcome us even though we weren't had not booked (we only spent one day in Caen and it was the Tourist Office which then gave us this magnificent address). Then the succession of starters (tapas that day), meals and dessert were incredible. Everything is excellent, seasonal and regional. A delight indeed! I couldn't describe how much I loved my meal. I plan to return to Caen and I already know where I will eat! Everything is beautiful, good and I was truly satisfied afterwards, I was able to continue my visit to the city. My husband too. The final word ? Don’t do like me: book! I was lucky that there were still two small spaces that day!
