What an experience…
If you are passing through Perpignan or its surroundings, you definitely need to come and eat for lunch or dinner.
We are in a restaurant where you will be served very good quality meat.
You will find other alternatives there for the less meaty.
Everything is excellent! From starter, to main course, to dessert.
Do not hesitate to contact Stéphane (the restaurant manager) as well as his teams to respond to all your requests, whether for the wine or your desires for the dishes.
Go there with your eyes closed, and savor each bite.

A restaurant focused on meat. The value for money is excessive. Decent meat but not exceptional. Reduced side portion. The servers are friendly but the atmosphere is quite neutral. For a good meal with friends, I won't go back there.

We only wanted to grab a bite for dinner after a day at the beach and ended up at le divil more or less by accident.
Almost put off by the prices of the meat, but curious enough to sit at a table.
We ordered the Straciatella salad which was just amazing to look at and every ingredient maximized in taste. The aubergines grilled, the tomatoes rae and at perfect temperature, the courgette finely cut…
Then we went for a simple pepper steak with mashed potatoes as well as a meat brochette with (homemade) fries. The brichette was ordered ‚à point‘ and I don‘t think I had ever meat more ‚à point‘ than this. It was simply perfect (they make it on areal fire bbc that is terribly hot). The fries were excellent as well: crunchy bit not dry, finely cut but you could still taste the potatoe.
Of course we couldn‘t resist and wen for chocolat liégeois and pain perdu as dessert. You should try this special pain perdu, it‘s probably something you have had many times before but never quite in this perfect way! Don‘t be scared by the busy staff, they know what they do, they seem to
love it and they deliver!!

The staff was very friendly, very easy to communicate with them without speaking French. The food was good, but perhaps a little expensive for what it was. The atmosphere very pleasant.

Nous avons découvert le Divil lors de notre promenade à Perpignan et avons été agréablement surpris!
L’accueil était chaleureux, les serveurs aux petits soins.
Presentation des plats très soignée et plein de saveurs pour mon tartare de bœuf.
Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochaine visite.
