Average local menu which could benefit from a few seafood options.
Food quality was good, desserts were excellent.
Price was good even though the local options were limited. Would recommend if staying at the local Eurocamp.
Lovely meal here. Really nice food and great service. Our 1 year old enjoyed looking at the fish and the staff were great with him and even brough out some toys for him to play with. Highly recommend!
Had a nice meal here; rump steak with delicious sauce. Pasta and ham for our daughter were also tasty. Homemade desserts: apple pie and chocolate cake with sauce. Friendly service and a clean place!
We are staying at the nearby eurocamp La Croix du vieux campsite and ventured into the village to support this local restaurant, and I'm so glad we did! It's so much cheaper and better quality food. The menu is small in options, but for us, it worked. Two of our kids and in the chicken nugget/sausage phase 😔 they were catered for. The other orders were beef slow cooked in beer, steak in blue sauce, and mixed grill. The portions were generous and great quality. The beef in beer sauce and steak in blue cheese sauce were particularly good.
We also did the tourist thing of trying snails, or my son did. I've eaten snails a few times, and this restaurant does them very well. My son is now also won over. The house wine is good quality and fairly priced. We plan on returning before the end of the holiday, the biggest compliment we can pay is repeat business.
A warm welcome, delicious cuisine with top-notch service. It’s a safe place to eat good French cuisine.
