​We had a lovely dinner with a party of four at Le Drapeau de Vincennes. The atmosphere here is brilliant—warm, energetic, and full of local neighborhood charm. ​The menu offers a great balance of classic French staples and modern pub plates, and everything came out beautifully: ​Starters: We shared a generous, well-curated cheese platter and the traditional baked snails, both of which paired perfectly with a crisp bottle of white wine. ​Mains: The Italian-style beef tartare was seasoned to perfection with great acidity and texture. The fish and chips had a light, golden, crunchy batter, and the shrimps and coquilles (scallops) were cooked just right—tender and deeply flavorful. ​Service was attentive and upbeat despite the busy vibes. It is an ideal spot for sharing small plates, enjoying honest bistro cooking, and soaking in the vibrant Paris/Vincennes vibe. ​Recommended dishes: Cheese platter, snails, Italian-style beef tartare, fish & chips, coquilles.

Four of us ate dinner at this restaurant. We left full and satisfied. The kitchen serves generous portions. Every dish packed strong, clear flavors. We drank a good bottle of wine with the main courses. We finished the meal with a crème brûlée and a tiramisu. The burnt sugar crust cracked under the spoon. The tiramisu carried a strong espresso taste. The waitstaff cleared empty plates and kept our glasses full. The dining room felt relaxed. This is a reliable spot for a solid dinner.
