What a pleasure it was to have discovered this restaurant.
Two evenings spent discovering Chef Borrell's dishes.
The service is perfect!
Marie-France's warm welcome, her kindness, and her professionalism delighted us.
And what about the view of the harbor?
Can't wait to come back and have a great time, but for now, we're returning to our beautiful Sancy massif.

We discovered Le Fanal, and it was a wonderful and enjoyable experience!
We ate in the dining room/veranda facing the sea and the harbor, set back from the main building (special mention to the staff who had to cross the road, hats off!).
A very pleasant view and a comfortable setting for this wonderful experience.
The dishes were carefully prepared, beautiful, and above all delicious!
Flavors that delighted our taste buds as well as our eyes, and impeccable service.
A wonderful journey through inventive Mediterranean cuisine.
Thank you also for offering a variety of homemade breads that pair so well with the dishes!

Finally, real food, good, fresh products, enhanced in original but unpretentious dishes, the market menu at €42 is excellent value for money. The service is attentive. I am outraged by the 1-star reviews, if you want fast service, go to the other restaurants on the seafront that serve you fries and frozen fish. The setting is beautiful and waiting a little longer for an original and creative dish in such a beautiful setting is not really torture 🌞 thank you for this experience.

The six-course menu is formidable. Blue crab, tabouriech, pigeon...
One small drawback is the first courses, which lack assertiveness and punch.

This is a very romantic and elegant restaurant located in the port of Banyuls sur Mer! It serves exquisite dishes typical of the Côte d'Azur cuisine. A must-visit to savor its cuisine. The menu includes more than one tasting menu, and if you prefer, a wine pairing is also available. Fresh produce and beautifully presented dishes. Great views from the glass-enclosed terrace. Service is very appropriate for the location, a must for couples. P.S.: Our bill went up a bit because we ordered wine.

Yes it's expensive and there are lots of cheaper alternatives in town but this kitchen is superb: great combinations of local natural flavours.
