Le Fer à Cheval sur Gemenos

In a pleasant setting with helpful and welcoming staff, we enjoyed ourselves. We loved the quality of the food and its presentation. Sunday lunchtime in May.

Dinner today with my partner, even though we didn't have a reservation, and we received a very warm welcome from this establishment. For starters, we had lamb spring rolls that were bursting with flavor. For our main course, we had perfectly cooked sea bream with delicious homemade mashed potatoes. I personally ordered the sirloin steak with homemade fries. There was a slight issue with the cooking of the meat, but it was still very good. The waiter, the chef, and the manager all apologized profusely and offered to recook it, which I declined. It was only when the bill arrived that the manager kindly offered me the dish on the house. In short, a wonderful time spent in this restaurant, which has recently been renovated while retaining the fireplace that takes pride of place in the dining room. We will gladly return to try the pizzas, which looked absolutely mouthwatering.

In the heart of the charming and quintessentially Gémenos village, Le Fer à Cheval is a beautifully renovated historic establishment. It's a very pleasant place to be. The staff is incredibly attentive, the food is perfectly prepared, and the daily specials are original and of exceptional quality. Just so you know, it's not exactly cheap...

A huge thank you to Frédéric and his team. We were welcomed into a completely renovated establishment that has retained its original charm. A menu designed to suit all tastes. We especially loved the charcoal-grilled meat. We will definitely be back and will be sharing this with our friends.

Excellent lunch at Le Fer à Cheval! All the meats are grilled in their own fireplace. The rump steak was top quality, and the fries and salad were delicious. It was a €19 lunch menu including dessert. I thought the ice cream was very good. The staff were very attentive, and the outdoor terrace is lovely!

Back to being a very good restaurant, a 350g sirloin steak served to perfection, cooked rare, on a warm plate, and a lemon meringue tart.

I came to discover this restaurant and I was absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, perfect for a relaxing time. The welcome is fantastic; you immediately feel at ease. The food is a real treat. The service is efficient and attentive. Honestly, a wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it and I will gladly return! Thank you to Fred and his entire team.
