Le Florentin sur Nevers

We had a really great meal, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was quite peaceful! :) We were served very quickly. I was less impressed with the phone call to ask if the restaurant accepted reservations... The response was rather curt: "We don't take reservations, there's space at the moment." As for the service itself, it was... quick and efficient 😅

A great find! The pizzas had a thin crust and delicious toppings. The terrace had a pleasant atmosphere with nice background music that wasn't intrusive. The waitress was attentive and offered good wine recommendations. We'll be back!

Respect for tradition in the kitchen is essential. Reservations are recommended. One of our favorite spots in Nevers.

Pizza baked on stone in a real wood-fired oven 🤩 Generously topped with high-quality ingredients. Delicious! We ordered takeaway pizza and only had to wait a few minutes.

The pizza was very good, as usual; it's the best place I know. However, we were surprised by the atmosphere in the dining room… A simple "good evening" at the entrance never hurt anyone, especially when you run a restaurant. We asked for a high chair and were told curtly, "Well, no, we don't have any." Okay, moving on. We were told goodbye without even a glance or a thank you, which wasn't the case a while back. I don't understand this atmosphere, which doesn't make us want to come back, even though the pizzas are good.
