We chose the restaurant because it was on our itinerary and had good reviews. (Arrived at 9 p.m. on a Saturday.) I confirm! We had risotto and gnocchi, everything was delicious! The risotto was tasty, indulgent, and filling—in short, it was fantastic! The profiterole-style cookie was divine. The waiters were kind and professional. A wonderful discovery. I definitely recommend it, and we'll be back.

Beautiful location facing the dungeon, great atmosphere, and a warm welcome. Don't be fooled by its name... it's pure Italian, where you can enjoy everything, both food and wine. I particularly recommend the squid ink spaghetti, a delight, accompanied by a glass of Colombelle (Colombard - Ugni Blanc). Excellent!

The Frenchman has become Italian... But high-class Italian, it's not the local pizzeria but a restaurant with measured flavors that knows how to welcome its public opposite the Donjon de Pons.

27/10/2025: We were with friends this Sunday, October 26th. We wanted to try this restaurant, Moulin de la Vergne; what a lovely name! WHEN WE ARRIVED, WE WERE SURPRISED BY THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARKING LOT, NOT VERY ATTRACTIVE TO COME IN.... I THINK IT HAS ACTUALLY JUST BEEN BOUGHT..... OTHERWISE, MEALS: NOT ENOUGH CHOICE FOR A MENU BETWEEN 20 AND 25 EUROS. THERE'S NOT AN A LA CARTE MENU. POSSIBLY FISH, COD, OR SALMON. CUISINE, A PITY. OTHERWISE, THE WELCOME IS VERY GOOD. THE PRESENTATION OF THE DISHES: TO BE REVIEWED. LOOK FOR WHITE PLATES IF POSSIBLE. FOR THE MAGNIFICENT SETTING, THE EXPOSED STONES ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL. OTHERWISE, WE HOPE THAT THE NEW OWNERS WILL CHANGE THE EXTERIOR.... WE'LL BE BACK! LACK OF DIRECTION SIGNS THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING MS. DECIPRE
25/10/2025: We ordered the 25 euro menu. The portions were generous and the service was fast. We'll be back.
