Le France sur Cassis

Ideally located on the port of Cassis to watch the sunset while sipping a cocktail....

A very pleasant place with a smiling and humorous waiter. Special mention for the restrooms, which are clean and modern…a welcome change from all the other bars around! We'll be back.

I think I lost my residence permit when I left your establishment the day before yesterday. Could you please look for it for me? It's normally the permit shown at the bottom of the photo. Thank you in advance.

We went to Le France three times during our stay. First time: my husband went alone for a morning coffee. Back at the apartment, he said the coffee was delicious and the waiter was grumpy, but pleasantly grumpy... 😉 The next day, I went alone because my husband was on a video conference. I was grumpy too, but really, it wasn't a big deal... I called out to him, "Sir, I'll take a café crème and a glass of water." He smiled, and everything arrived promptly... delicious coffee and cold, fresh water. Third time: husband, son, I, and the dog went for a few drinks after the beach... a different waiter, but similar to the one from the other two days. We had wine, beer, and tea, and my son even got a friendly tip on where to watch the Champions League match between Marseille and ? in the evening. All in all, we were satisfied and found the waiters rather interesting in their manner... but friendly, concise, and not at all unfriendly!!! That’s our experience here at Le France.
