What a wonderful discovery the Valentine's Day menu was! An explosion of flavors in the mouth, with great subtlety. The plates are visually appealing and the ingredients are of high quality. The staff has a very pleasant, professional attitude; they are attentive, smiling, and respectful, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent meal. We had the €38 set menus and everything was perfect. Unusual combinations (scallops, black pudding), but delicious. Perfectly cooked and very pleasant service. We can only recommend it.

We came here for the first time to see our granddaughter at work and to try out this restaurant. The interior is pleasant, allowing us to talk without raising our voices even if the restaurant is full. The cuisine is refined and of very high quality, allowing us to eat our last meal without overindulging. The welcome and service are very pleasant, with a smile. A wonderful discovery. Excellent value for money.

25/05/2025: If you're a foodie, love nature, peace and quiet, and being by the Charente River, then you've found the perfect place. A plate full of originality, homemade bread. Thanks to a local service, we discovered L'Amaranthe. Thank you for this wonderful find in Port d'Envaux, this lovely little village.
16/05/2025: A peaceful spot (at least on a Friday lunchtime) with a stunning view of the Charente River. Seasonal cuisine with a well-chosen vegetarian option. Warm welcome. A very pleasant experience (especially if the terrace is open in good weather).
