We had lunch at this friendly restaurant on a May bank holiday; the welcome was good, the service was quick, and the pizza was excellent!

A truly wonderful place, excellent value for money. Pleasant service, delicious flavors in every dish – we will definitely return. And yes, very good indeed. Excellent wine list. Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

Excellent restaurant. Top-quality food and service. I live in Switzerland and am currently visiting a friend, so I won't be able to return anytime soon. What a shame. I highly recommend it.

Excellent quality meal made with fresh, carefully selected ingredients and beautifully presented. We booked for 15 people (including 5 children) for Sunday lunch and had a private room reserved for us. The servers were attentive. We unanimously recommend it.

Excellent, succulent, tasting menu ❤️ The foie gras and accompaniments were a delight, whether it was the fish or the meat, a real treat, and the dessert was superb. It was a meal full of flavor. Bravo to the chefs and the entire very professional team. We will be back!!

25/05/2025: If you're a foodie, love nature, peace and quiet, and being by the Charente River, then you've found the perfect place. A plate full of originality, homemade bread. Thanks to a local service, we discovered L'Amaranthe. Thank you for this wonderful find in Port d'Envaux, this lovely little village.
16/05/2025: A peaceful spot (at least on a Friday lunchtime) with a stunning view of the Charente River. Seasonal cuisine with a well-chosen vegetarian option. Warm welcome. A very pleasant experience (especially if the terrace is open in good weather).
