LE GAULOIS sur Reims

Great food, service and atmosphere. Staff were friendly, the food I had was enormous! Meat and Camembert platter. Family had to share it with me. There food was good too. Shame it was pouring with rain. We sat under cover outside, but we're quickly moved inside!

Friendly welcome, good value for money, a salad and a Royal Burger, the plate is generous!

A typical Reims brasserie, nice atmosphere. But the Coke was served at 30°C one day, with no ice... A bit disappointing.

Absolutely fantastic. The summer fruit salad, in this heat, is irresistible!!

A wonderful experience at this restaurant! The meal was delicious and the service impeccable. A big thank you to our server Vincent, who was particularly helpful, attentive, and very kind, especially to our children. This truly made our visit even more enjoyable. We will gladly return!

We visited on our way home from the Alps for some food. We didn't know where we wanted to eat, so just wandered until this place appealed. The waiting staff were brilliant, the food quick to arrive and very tasty. The beer of the month was very good as well. Four people, four mains plus drinks for €100 in a city like Reims. Excellent.

5☆ To Eli for his exceptional, professional, curtious service at our table. Unfortunately my plated rib eye was a failure on this occasion but was promptly and happily replaced with a different steak which ticked all the box's cooked medium and nothing left on my plate this time. Complementary bread was served. My son's steak was great and daughter's bolognaise fettuccine was on point. When she asked for some cheese, absolutely not a problem, Eli came back with a small bowl to indulge to her desire. Thank you Eli! You're worth your weight (65hrs) in gold! Happy daughter, happy Dad. Visit to to toilets were pleasant on my occasion though I can understand with the turn over of hundreds of patrons, cleanliness can fall quickly leaving patrons to be fussy as to which door/toilet they take. Eli also took note wife wasn't well (not ordering) and offered to provide some sweet water to assist. It was a nice balmy night, live busker music was playing and the beer was cold. What more could you ask for.
