Le Glacier D'andernos sur Le Boulou

Perhaps it's better this way, we're still in France. French cuisine. My God, where are you?

And so, on our way back from southern Spain, we stopped again in Le Boulou for two days and of course we went back to the ice cream shop, 15 days after our first visit. They were still as friendly as ever and the food was perfect. The first time, it was shepherd's pie, and this time it was homemade pork stir-fry, mmmmmm, excellent...

We came to spend the day in Le Boulou and arrived a little late, as the bus didn't arrive until around 1 p.m. Unfortunately, since it's a small town, there weren't many restaurants open yet. After looking around a bit, we saw this pizzeria that looked nice and had reasonable prices, so we decided to go in… and what an incredible surprise! We were expecting a fairly basic pizzeria, but it was actually a truly delicious restaurant. Everything was excellent: the taste, the presentation of the dishes, and the portion sizes. Frankly, it exceeded our expectations. The value for money is remarkable—nothing like what you might imagine just by seeing "pizzeria." You eat very well for a very reasonable price. In addition, the waitress was extremely kind and attentive throughout the meal. She really took care of us, and at the end, she even gave the children some candy—a lovely gesture that made all the difference. There are even power outlets at every table! For charging your phone! We left very satisfied and, without a doubt, we'll be back in Le Boulou just to eat here again. It's really, really good and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely lovely people! I was traveling by bike and they kindly agreed to fill my water bottles, while the people across the street were asking for €1. And all with a smile! Thank you again 🙏
